Booking Terms and Conditions & Privacy Policy
We would kindly ask that you take the time to read this thoroughly as when you book with us, you are fully agreeing with these terms and conditions:
o Check in is from 4pm and Check out is 10am due to Covid restrictions. Please scan the QR code for the NHS app. This can be found on our website, in your welcome letter and on the Site Office door.
o We are a beautiful woodland site and therefore common sense is required for your stay. Sensible footwear for uneven ground is required and there is open water on site. There’s woodland wildlife in abundance so please be respectful of the surroundings. The internet is not very good and we encourage guests to connect with each other and nature.
o Book Direct - full Payment is taken to confirm the booking plus a damage deposit per cabin.
o Please note we are also advertised on other sites with instant booking and therefore availability can change very quickly.
o Additional logs and charcoal can be purchased on site.
o We are a woodland venue so you must never leave a fire unattended. The woodland carpet is highly flammable during dry periods and on occasions we do have to restrict fires. Concrete slabs must be used under fire pits and please ensure all rubbish is picked up and disposed of in bins.
o Parking is marked as you come into the site. Please do not park next to your cabin unless unloading and reloading. Cars must not go into the wooded area past 6pm.
o We try and keep our prices competitive and can achieve this with the help of you leaving the cabins tidy and putting rubbish in bins etc. If there is extra cleaning required or any items damaged, we will use the deposit to cover this. We understand accidents happen, please do let us know if you break something so we can get it replaced straight away.
o There is a large pond on site. Please never attempt to enter the water and children must always be supervised.
o The only time we must cancel bookings is in the event of something out of our control (weather, facilities etc).
o The main glamping site is not suitable for restricted mobility. However, the wooden ramp around Toad Hall allows access for wheelchairs and prams and is part disabled friendly with a king bedroom and wet room on the ground floor with a sunken hot tub on the decking outside.
o Happy Valley is part of a working farm. Enjoy seeing the cows and sheep but please be aware that farm machinery may come in and out of the yard adjacent to parking. Children must always be accompanied by an adult.
o The booking fee is non-refundable.
o We operate on a two-night minimum stay procedure during the week and a three-night minimum stay at the weekend.
o Our Health and Safety procedures are detailed in our welcome pack. Please adhere to these guidelines in order to keep your group and our community safe.
