    Happy Valley Norfolk is a busy woodland wedding and glamping venue, and we’re looking for brilliant people to join our casual events team.

    This isn’t a job where every shift looks the same. One day you might be serving behind the bar at a wedding, another helping turn around the venue, moving furniture, preparing accommodation or getting the site looking beautiful for guests.

    We’re looking for people who genuinely enjoy being part of a team, aren’t afraid of hard work and come in ready to get stuck in.

    The sort of person we’re looking for

    You don’t need years of hospitality experience. Attitude, reliability and work ethic matter much more to us.

    You’ll suit Happy Valley if you:

    The available opportunities -

    Depending on the shift, this could include:

    Weddings & events
    Bar service, glass collecting, restocking, clearing, guest assistance, setting up and packing down spaces and general event support.

    Site & venue
    Moving furniture, setting up ceremony and reception areas, cleaning and tidying outdoor spaces, preparing the venue and helping with general site jobs.

    Glamping
    Helping prepare accommodation and outdoor areas, moving supplies and assisting with changeovers when required.

    The work can be physical and involves being on your feet for long periods. Happy Valley is a woodland venue, so some work takes place outdoors and on uneven ground.

    How our casual team works

    Shifts are offered on an ad hoc basis and you’re free to say no if you’re unavailable or don’t want a particular shift.

    However, once you accept a shift, we rely on you.

    Weddings are hugely important days for our couples and there is a whole team depending on each other. We therefore expect everyone who accepts a shift to arrive ready to contribute, follow the agreed plan and treat colleagues and managers with respect.

    We don’t expect perfection. We do expect reliability, kindness, professionalism and a willingness to work.

    Cleaner/Domestic Staff

    What You’ll Be Doing

    You’ll be preparing our luxury cabins and guest spaces to an exceptional standard — clean, calm, and beautifully presented for every arrival.

    • Cleaning and resetting glamping cabins between guests

    • Maintaining shared spaces

    • Ensuring a high level of finish and attention to detail

    This is not just cleaning, it’s about creating a premium guest experience.
