Our Wilderness Wedding Fair is not your average wedding fair. We’re throwing open the gates to our woodland wedding venue and bringing it to life so you can actually see, hear, taste and feel what your wedding here could be like. We’re talking wild woodland ceremony spaces, beautiful blooms, bohemian music, gorgeous styling, incredible food, pizza in the courtyard and a barn dressed and ready to party. Basically, come for the wedding inspiration and stay for the good vibes.
See your ceremony come to life
One of the most exciting things about the day is that our most popular outdoor ceremony space, The Wizard Tree, won't just be an empty space waiting for your imagination. We have a wonderfully talented florist, Millie Simpson from Thistle & Waxflower, decorating this key ceremony spot and creating a real-life wedding setup for you to explore.
So rather than trying to picture “what would this look like with flowers?”, you can actually stand there and see it. You can also get a glimpse of some of Happy Valley’s prop selection, helping you to visualise exactly how the ceremony could look and feel.
Step inside your reception
We'll also be dressing our Dutch Barn ceiling so you can experience how it could feel as your wedding reception space. With the incredibly talented Boomting Bunting bringing the barn to life, you'll get to see how all those extra details can transform a blank canvas into somewhere full of warmth, colour and personality.
Whether you're imagining relaxed long tables, wild florals, twinkling lights, bunting, daytime dancing or something completely unique and unexpected, we want you to be able to get a real feel for what's possible in our Dutch Barn.
Meet the people who can make it happen
We've handpicked an incredible collection of wedding suppliers to join us in the Dutch Barn - creative, talented people who understand that your wedding doesn't have to look like everyone else's. You'll be able to chat to florists, bakers, stylists, photographers, caterers and more, discover their work, ask all those questions you've been saving up and start putting together the dream team for your day.
And because we know choosing suppliers can sometimes feel like scrolling endlessly through Instagram trying to work out who actually gets your style, this is your chance to meet them face-to-face. Come and find the people whose work makes you stop scrolling and think: “YES. That's exactly what I want.”
Come hungry…
There will be delicious food to discover throughout the day, with our fantastic caterers offering samples so you can taste some of the possibilities for your own wedding. Because let's be honest, food is a pretty important part of a wedding.
And if you're looking for something relaxed, fun and seriously delicious, make sure you head into the courtyard to meet The Simple Slice. They'll be serving their incredible pizzas fresh in the courtyard - and these aren't your average wedding pizzas.
The Simple Slice are a Norfolk & Suffolk pizza van specialising in three styles: Neo-Neapolitan, New York and Detroit, using slow-proved dough and fresh ingredients. They also cater for weddings and events, creating bespoke menus around each couple.
So yes, there will be wedding inspiration. But there will also be pizza. We think that's a pretty good combination.
Music, dancing & a little bit of magic
And because no Happy Valley wedding fair would be complete without music, we've got some gorgeous sounds lined up for you too.
Alisha Giles, our beautiful bohemian-inspired singer, will be bringing live music to the day - giving you a little taste of the atmosphere that live music can create when you're celebrating in the woods. Then head over to the Hay Barn, where Julian Ebbs DJ will be bringing the party vibes. We want you to imagine that moment when everyone you love is on the dance floor, the lights are low, the drinks are flowing and you're completely lost in the moment.
More than a wedding fair
Happy Valley is a place where weddings can unfold over an entire weekend, rather than simply being a few hours in one room. We're surrounded by nine acres of private woodland, with woodland ceremony spaces, two distinct barns, outdoor areas and luxury accommodation - all designed to create a wedding that feels like a proper escape. And that's really what the Wilderness Wedding Fair is about.
Experiencing it. Walking through the woods. Standing in the ceremony spaces. Seeing the flowers. Stepping into the dressed Dutch Barn. Meeting the people who could be part of your wedding day.
